报告摘要：In this talk, we will first review some known results on focal radius of submanifold N in a Riemannian manifold M. Then we will mention our recent progress of focal radius estimates. The main body of this talk will be devoted to discuss its relation to the positive scalar curvature problem proposed by Gromov in recent papers.
